This is an interactive world atlas designed for children. Kids explore 227 countries and territories through age-appropriate postcards with facts about food, language, culture, and geography. Every place is presented with warmth, curiosity, and respect.

All data is stored locally on this device only using your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to any server. Stored data includes: family countries of origin, explorer names, which countries each child has visited, and favorites. No personal information leaves this device.

Country descriptions are written for kids aged 5 and up. Political situations are described honestly but age-appropriately. We don't shy away from the fact that some countries face challenges, but framing is always educational, never graphic. Every country gets something positive highlighted.

During setup, you chose countries that are meaningful to your family. These appear with heart markers on the map and get special treatment in the experience. You can change these anytime using the Edit Family button (👨‍👩‍👦) in the left sidebar.
